OCN North East Region CPD

OCN North East Region’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme has an extensive range of training and events for practitioners in support of curriculum development, quality assurance and diversity. OCN North East Region also provides accredited professional development programmes in preparation for teaching, assessment and internal quality assurance.

Attendance at an OCN North East Region CPD event ensures you are equipped to secure the achievement of your learners.

OCN North East Region CPD events, which are held in different locations across the North East, include:

• New Centre Training (Induction to OCNNER)

• Centre Support Administration Training

• Practice Development workshops covering Assessment, Internal Verification and Standardisation

• Seminars and briefing sessions on Awarding Body curriculum developments eg QCF, Foundation Learning

• Access to HE Training & Development

• Conferences and briefing sessions on education and skills topics eg: Funding

• Bespoke Continuous Professional Development for your organisation

PLEASE NOTE: CPD sessions for centres based in the North West and Scotland will be published separately.

Fees & Charges

Some sessions are free to member organisations as part of the Annual Membership fee. Charges are detailed below:

Booking details

To reserve a place, please click on the relevant session in the Training Calendar within the OCN North East Region website and complete the Booking Form. If you require further details or you are unable to access the OCN North East Region website, please email admin@ocnner.org.uk or call 0191 518 6550.

Booking Fee for Bespoke Events/Accredited Courses

Please note: all bespoke events/accredited courses are arranged subject to a signed agreement and are invoiced in full in advance. Cancellation within 5 working days of the event date will incur the full cost.

Confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent when your booking is received; further confirmation details, including venue information, will be sent 5-10 days prior to the event. Please note that OCN North East Region has a maximum and minimum number for ALL events. Once you have booked a place, if you are unable to attend, please notify us immediately so that other people on the waiting list can be offered your place. To be eligible for a full refund booked places must be cancelled no less than 5 working days before the event.
