Learning resources now available for NOCN Entry Level Qualifications in Media Literacy (Entry 3) (QCF)

The resources called Switch On! have been developed by Ofcom to help teachers preparing learners for the qualification and to support informal learning in a wide variety of contexts. The resources have been specifically designed to work alongside the NOCN Entry Level Media Literacy qualifications.

The Media Literacy qualification will enable learners, including those with learning difficulties and disabilities, to ask questions about what they watch, see, and read in different types of media and communications; and provide learners with an awareness of the language, terms and ‘messages’ used and portrayed in the media.
