1. How do I create a new course?
To create a new course you need to complete a New Course Notification Form and return this to qats@ocnner.org.uk.

2. How long does it take to get a new course approved, and get my CLRF?
Once the Quality Accreditation Manager has passed the completed and approved documentation to the Quality Administration Team for processing, your Course and Learner Registration Form will be uploaded to your SharePoint site within ten working days.

To use a unit from a sector that you don't have approval for, you need to complete this form

4. How do I change my course title?
To request a change of course title you will need to complete a Course Amendment Form and send it to qats@ocnner.org.uk
5. Are there any restrictions to what I can call my course?
Yes, when developing a national or qualification course using NOCN units, you cannot use the qualification title as your course title. Additionally, the words: NOCN, Award, Certificate, Diploma, Progression or Qualification CANNOT be used.

- NOCN Qualifications such as Progression Qualifications have a minimum age of 16
- NOCN StepUp Qualifications have a minimum age of 14
- Local courses have a Minimum age of 14
7. How much does it cost to create a new course or make amendments to an existing course?
There is no charge, unless you are creating a new unit, which costs £50 per unit. See our Fees and Charges.
