In today’s competitive business and working environments it is essential that employees are equipped with the skills necessary to enable them to be both flexible and effective members of staff. Employers in the North East are very committed to staff training and development and, as such, invest much time and resources into developing the skills of their employees.
Increasingly, employers throughout the region are working with OCN North East Region to enable them to develop and deliver high quality; bespoke accredited training that meets their precise needs and is quality assured. OCN North East Region has in excess of 15 years’ experience of working very successfully with a wide range of business and employers.
Our first-class accreditation service is well established within our region and adds value and integrity to staff training programmes.

Qualifications
NOCN Qualifications consist of units of assessment, each with an assigned level and credit value. This allows employers to offer, and learners to achieve, learning in the workplace and build towards a full qualification within their own timescales.
We can help you use Qualifications on the new Qualifications and Credit Framework that are supported by Sectors Skills Councils. They can allow you to map your employee induction and general training to nationally accredited Units and Qualifications.
Accreditation is flexible so your courses can be as short as one day or over a longer time, with achievements recorded and certificated at every step of the way.

The Skills Pledge
All employers are encouraged to make The Skills Pledge to promise that they will enable all staff to achieve a minimum of a Level Two Qualification. OCN North East Region can support you to fulfil The Skills Pledge and meet the needs of your business and your workforce.
