Direct Claims Status and Approved Internal Verifier Status
One feature of NOCN's quality model is the option for Internal Verifiers within approved centres to apply for Authorised Internal Verifier Status.
Approved Internal Verifiers are approved to sign the Recommendation for the Award of Credit forms for courses within specified Sector Areas and are therefore responsible for ensuring the security of the award of credit for each course. They do this by checking that the centre's own internal quality systems are fit for purpose and properly implemented.
Those intending to apply for AIV status are required to hold a recognised Internal Verification qualification and OCN North East Region offer the NOCN Internal Verification Award for those wishing to gain a qualification.
